Organ donation is offering donation biological tissues or organs in the human body to another person(s) suffering from organ damage that requires replacement. An organ transplant helps to save lives or significantly improve the health and life quality of the recipient.

The medical and nursing profession should encourage many people to donate their body organs if the request does not contradict with their ethics.  Organ donation is minimal as many people do not have the will or reason to donate their organs unless someone volunteers to offer the information. Some of those who can give an organ are not even aware of their legibility.

 Qualifications to be a donor

Anyone can donate an organ at any final cooking age, size and health status if the organ that the donor offers is healthy.   There is no restriction of an organ to just one.  You can donate more than one if it does not compromise your health.   • Bone tissue including cartilage and tendons

Many patients are on the waiting list of the people who need an organ transplant to continue living or improve quality of life, but they have not got a donor.     The number of donors will share their organs with patients is still too low. Some people spend many weeks or months of trips to hospital or admission. Some even die while waiting. Donating an organ helps a person who is very sick due to organ failure to live a better life or escape death.

Donating an organ does not cause any loss yet is very helpful to patients suffering from severe illness who depend on transplants to save them from imminent death.
